THANKS to all who came to this year's Corvette & High Performance Meet! Vendor participation was up as well as attendance by the public. Over 1000 booths were filled with all kinds of automotive stuff, new and used. We had reports of new, used, and project vehicles going home with new owners. See photos of the event here and photos of our booth here.
The Pinstriper's Brush Bash on Saturday was a show in itself with about a dozen stripers flinging paint. They were kind enough to personify the school lunch box awards for the Valve Cover Races. Thanks to John Kelly for coordinating such a great group of stripers.
Special thanks to the Corvette Marque Club of Seattle for hosting the Valve Cover Races! Competition was fun with over 20 valve covers in the pits.
We had an extremely high percentage of happy vendors who found that buyers were ready to shop. We noticed an improvement from last year in our store booth for both new and used parts.
Mother Nature was kind enough to give us a mostly dry (when it counted) weekend. Set-up on Friday was dry and tolerable temperature wise. The Saturday rain and wind came after 3:00PM and after the peak crowds had come and gone. Sunday's rain caught us on the way home, after we had officially counted the 37th annual Corvette & High Performance Meet as "in the books".
Another really big thanks to all of our show staff who make this event a memorable experience!
See you in Puyallup, February 11 & 12, 2012!
